This one was a full scope job - new water heater, plus a complete repipe of the entire home. The old Quest water lines had to go. Quest piping has a well-documented history of becoming brittle over time, which leads to pinhole leaks and eventual failures. Replacing it isn't optional at that point, it's just a matter of when.

We swapped everything out with new PEX water lines - main line and every fixture in the home. PEX is flexible, durable, and holds up far better long-term. It's the right material for the job, and it's what we'd put in our own homes.

The water heater side of things was straightforward - out with the old, in with a commercial-grade ProLine unit. Solid tank, reliable performance, and built to last. The tricky part of this job was getting to all those lines under the house. That meant suiting up and crawling into the crawl space to run the new PEX through correctly. Not glamorous work, but it has to be done right.

No shortcuts here. Every fixture tied in, every line replaced, clean connections throughout. That's the standard we hold ourselves to whether it's a quick repair or a full repipe like this one. The homeowner doesn't have to think about their water lines for a long time.

Jobs like this are exactly why we do what we do. It's not always the cleanest or easiest work, but getting into a home with old, failing plumbing and leaving it completely sorted out - that's what makes it worth it.
