To ensure a durable, code-compliant installation, we fabricated new hot and cold water connections using 3/4-inch copper piping and ProPress fittings, creating clean, secure joints that eliminate the need for soldering while providing long-lasting reliability. We also threaded new black iron piping to reconnect the natural gas supply, ensuring a proper, leak-free gas connection.
Once all plumbing and gas connections were complete, the new water heater was filled, purged of air, and thoroughly tested. Our technicians lit the pilot, adjusted the temperature to a safe medium setting, and performed comprehensive leak testing on every water and gas connection.
